Earlier I tried urban platter dark chocolate chips and they tasted really good but this one tastes like a chocolate flavoured sugar chips with no real chocolate but just the essence.

At first I would specify that the packet I received wasn’t melted at all. About the taste, when I first opened the packet I ate a few chocolate chips and was pretty disappointed. The taste was more buttery/sugary with no taste of chocolate. But then I made peanut butter cookies and the chocolate chips turned out to add a pretty good flavour to the cookies. They have retained their shape but yet straight out of the oven they are all soft and a bit melted and it gives a great feeling. Considering they are much cheaper than most brands I’m overall quite satisfied, but I’d highly advise to bake them and not use them as is.
