The review written after first time purchase is given below. My latest review is based on 5kg quinoa which I ordered sometime back. Out of the 5 packs two were like this:-The quinoa pack contained equal quantity of insects/insect larvae and quinoa. Powdery, insect eaten quinoa was settled at the bottom of the pack. The whole thing smelled dank and mouldy. It took me more than half hr to just clean 2 cups of quinoa for cooking and even after that I didnt know what I ate was quinoa or insect babies. Made me furious everytime i cooked out of these packs till they got over. The other 3 packs were fine and like the previous order based on which I had ordered these 5 packs in one go. I really hope they dont do this again because their quinoa is good otherwise and the most reasonably priced as of now. The quality of quinoa is very good. The seed size is also fine. The taste is exactly how it should be - perfect. Cooked really nicely and in no time in the cooker. I am extremely satisfied with this product. It is semi processed which means some amount of covering has been removed from the quinoa, which improves the taste because totally unprocessed quinoa tastes bitter. I found this quick recipe which i hope can help all: 1. Wash 1 cup quinoa (like washing rice) 2. Soak quinoa for anytime between 1 and 4 hours in regular room temperature water (I had soaked and left and come back after around 3-4 hrs) - for soaking put 1.5 cups for every cup of quinoa. Soaking can be done in the cooker itself 3. Add a pinch of salt for every cup of quinoa before cooking. 4. Close the cooker and cook on highest flame till the first whistle blows (do not cook at low flame since it will iver cook the quinoa) 5. After first whistle lower the flame to simmer and cook for another 5 minutes. Then shut off the flame and let the cooker steam out on its own.
