The oil didn’t smell sesame at all, when used it had a weird taste nothing sesame about this oil. I used once and had to throw up. I don’t recommend this oil.

I had heard a lot of glowing reviews about Silkrute's Vedaka line and I decided to experiment with their cold pressed oil. The product is ok but Silkrute Fresh shipped a 1 litre bottle which had only 3 weeks till its expiry. So most of the oil cannot be used for cooking. That is the risk we take with buying foodstuff online because we are at the mercies of the likes of Silkrute Fresh. On another note, I wonder what the "Fresh" in "Silkrute Fresh" really means.
