The mamra almonds were not up to the mark. The quality is bad. Many of the nuts were tastes bitter and not pleasant. When you charging an high rate for such product , there is an equal responsibility to keep the high quality products to the customers.

Checking for MAMRA badam online found this to be Reasonable. Bought it happily. We soak it in water overnight and the whole family consumes it empty stomach every morning. Initial 2 -3weeks I was very happy with my purchase. It was tasty and juicy when all of a sudden my 3 yr old daughter spit out 1 of them saying it was yakkee. Assuming it might be spoilt inside I did not bother. A few days later. I happened to taste a badam that tasted like CHEMICAL. I too spit it out and from then stopped feeding it to my daughter. Coming from a middle class family I did not want to waste the remaining. So kept having it for few more weeks and for 2 more such badams that tasted chemicals. The packet was half empty and suddenly I end up in one such piece which had so much of chemical taste that even after spitting it out immediately after my first bite and rinsing my mouth 3 times the taste of chemical lasted for almost 5 mins. Felt like I ate some poison. That's it!!! Just realised my foolishness of eating slow poison just to put value for the money I spent. Thew the wholr thing into drains ( did not throw it in the dustbin as I did not want anybody to eat it) thats the right place it deserves to be. I hope it's quite understandable the the whole packet had some form of chemical added to keep it fresh and unluckily few have left back with the chemical taste.I would say A BIG NO NO to SFT MAMRA.

Most of the pieces are broken and they are very dry. In comparision to other brands these seem to have less oil and bitter in taste.

the quality of the product is very poor. it is more of "tukde tukde" rather than whole badam. ie broken pieces of badam. size of badam is very small. appears very old also.
