This dates paste is clean, so usable right out of the jar. Its consistency is just right; in fact one can make it a little more moist by adding almond butter etc as desired. I used it to make dates-and-coconut bites and they turned out well. The sweetness seems natural too. I am happy I found Urban Platter's product - saved me from pulsing seedless dates in the food processor.
