Sabudana KhichadiDhanashree Gruha Udyog presents you ready to cook delicious vegetarian sabudana khichadi with ingredients like sago groundnut powder ghee cumin seeds green chili sugar salt.Directions for Preparation: 1. Soak Sabudana Khichadi Mix in 100 ml. water for 25 minutes and put lid on it. 2. Steam it for 5 minutes. Microwave: Cook the soaked Sabudana Khichadi Mix for 2 minutes at 250 W and 2 mins at 900 W. Tip: Garnish with coriander leaves grated coconut and lemon juice. You can cook in pressure cooker till 1 whistle. This product requires no added ingredients just add water and cook and product is complete Indian style cuisine. Disclaimer : Products are to be kept in cool and dry place.

I am fan of other products of Dhanashree gruha udyog especially sheera, Upma, pohe , Amboli, kadhi, thalipeeth. I have tasted almost everything but sabudana khichadi was a bit of let down. First it takes long time for it to soak. Secondly instructions as to whether boil, steam or pressure cook it are vague. Even after soaking for long time it tends to become sticky or soggy. I guess recipe is ok but quality of sabudana used can be a major reason. Some research needs to be done on the same. Change in sabudana used might work I guess. Can take example of instamunch sabudana khichadi which is much better compared to this product. It’s a request to do some R n D on the same and improve the quality of the product.

The preparation instructions are vague (for e.g. does the manufacturer mean 'boil' instead of 'steam'?) and when prepared accordingly, the sabudana becomes sticky. 1/2 hour preparation time is just too much. Taste is not that good. Overall, bad experience.
