The pickle smells like kimchi gone bad. It has a sour smell and taste, and the spices are sticking out on the surface of very broad cut pieces of bamboo. I'm not used to finding a 6 cm by 3 cm blob on my plate for pickle, we typically have small diced or narrow cut vegetables and fruits in pickles. The bamboo was fibrous as opposed to tender, and the vinegar was overwhelming. It's a large bottle so it's going to be very hard to finish this.
