This is a family heirloom recipe. Only Gavran Kairi (native variety locally grown mangoes from Maharashtra) are used to make this pickle. It is made using traditional spices like Mohri Dal (Mustard split seeds) Black Pepper Khada Hing (Asofoetida) Stone-ground Turmeric Chilly Powder Cloves Fenugreek Seeds and pink Salt. This pickle is handmade in small batches using unrefined in traditional Bharnis (ceramic jars) using lacto fermentation techniques and does not contain synthetic or natural vinegar.
