This product is actually unbelievable. It is insanely hot. I ruined an entire bag of Chex Mix by putting some of this powder in the bag and then shaking it up because it is absolutely inedible. I cannot enjoy the Chex Mix with how hot this is- maybe one handful a day, but it’s unreal. Perfect for controlling snacking tendencies, because every time I go to snack, I’m painfully reminded that I should be waiting for a real meal.It burns going down, burns your mouth for an hour after, and also burns coming out. I’m going to put some in chili and see how it turns out. Definitely recommend!

The moment you open the parcel you'll likely notice a pungent smokey smell that reminds me of house fires vs. smoked foods.It took several days to get used to this new smell in my kitchen but I do appreciate that I can bring up the heat level of foods to make them unbearably spicy if I want.I tend to just use this for adding a bit of heat, so the smokeyness isn't a big deficit/flavor problem. If the product label wasn't cheap and falling off I might have let it get 5 stars.
