The first time I bought this, was years back for healing ear lobe piercings. It worked really well. This was perfect as a sea salt soak. It’s also very good for sore throats, throat infections and ulcers.Unfortunately, not good for cooking. Doesn’t melt while baking. And definitely a no-no for salads. Works okay when boiling water for pasta.

These are NOT flakes. These are salt crystals, similar to rock salt crystals. The packaging says they are delicate flakes and nothing could be further from the truth. This salt cannot be used as a finishing salt. You can use it to boil pasta or add it to gravies. You can’t use it for marinades and salads, unless you want to bite into chunky salt. Disappointed because this is not what I wanted but the description on the packaging mislead me.
