I bought this out of sheer curiosity, finding it difficult to imagine candy made out of something so pungent and earthy as asafoetida. Well, now I'm a believer. This sweet and spicy confection most definitely tastes of asafoetida, so make no mistake about that. Those who appreciate this spice will find this small adventure well worth the nominal price.
