Chia seeds take like 5 minutes to increase in size. And it is a little difficult and uncomfortable to drink it. It feels like drinking some seeds. If you want it for problems like constipation or digestion related problems then go for psyllium husk (isabgol) but if you just want to have it generally to use it in smoothies or salads then you can buy it.

This is my first ever purchase of Chia seeds. I did a lot of searching on Silkrute & then landed on Attar Ayurveda. Though I found them to be on the expensive side, I placed the order anyway after going through the reviews. And trust me, these are worth every penny. The seeds look immensely fresh, have no foul smell & have minimal dust particles. They swell in less than 15 mins & I don't have to wait overnight. Chia seeds in general are a superfood & are rich in fibre. I soak one tablespoon of chia seeds daily in water & have that water at any time depending upon my mood. This has helped in solving my chronic constipation problem. I am more than happy & going to order another pack again.

Product is clean without any dust, dirt or stones in it. However, I noticed that the seeds do not swell that much even after I put them in normal, warm or hot water. I am not sure if non-swelling is the correct behaviour of the chia seeds because I saw some videos where the seeds had swelled a lot and became very sticky. I will have to use this product for a month to see if the chia seeds result in any weight loss. Rest is good, the seeds themselves have no flavour, i add lemon juice, and honey in it to make it tasty. Make sure to have it by straw and not directly as lemon juice is acidic and may damage tooth enamel. Rinse mouth immediately after finishing the drink for minimising lemon effects.
