Lavender is a flowering plant in the mint family thatoeasily identified by its sweet floral scent which may symbolize silence calmness caution and devotion as well. It commonly used for food & beverages as a flavor component and therapeutic benefits. Direction to use: Lavender is too strong to be used by itself as a tea but mixed with mint leaves it makes a soothing herbal tea. And often add chamomile too. Steep all in hot (not boiling water) for a few minutes and add honey if desired. A bit of lavender in lemonade or cocktails is refreshing and delicious on a hot day.
