I'm a bit of a connoisseur when it comes to superfoods and greens products. I've tried a lot of greens that don't seem fresh, or upset my stomach too much or have a strange herb concoction that makes me feel downright weird. But I can tell that the AV Supergreens, a very simple formula, are fresh and amazing quality, grown and made with knowledge and expertise. And a lot of love! The taste is a tiny bit challenging, but don't let that put you off. You get used to it and after a few days of taking it, the body starts to crave it. I take it first thing in the morning and mix it with a lot of water in a shaky cup and chug it! I'm used to that grassy greens flavour because I also like taking freshly juiced wheatgrass and barley grass. They recommend adding a squeeze of lemon to their greens. I think it would also be amazing mixed with freshly juiced pineapple juice (never store-bought juice which is highly processed and sugary and would defeat the purpose).

It has a natural sweet taste that comes from stevia. Our family has been using it for about one year. I understand that long term use of super greens-especially the ingredient of spirulina helps clean the toxins from liver also. So I continue to use it. All of our family members take it. I take it the first thing in the morning for best results. I prefer powder to capsule form because I can vary my intake. I find it good. My family members have found it quite effective. My daughter and relative have found it very useful for constipation.

I'm using it as an alkalizer alongwith some other things. Seems to be working well. Has Stevia I'm guessing as it is sweetened. I find it doesn't mix well in cold water so I start with hot water to mix and then add cold.
