Chaksu Seeds is the name given to the herb by the Nighantu granthas as it is applied as collyrium in eye disorders. The drug has not been mentioned in Charak Samhita. The plant is a small herb growing up to 50 cm bearing reddish yellow flowers. It is seen throughout India from the Himalayas to temperate parts. The seeds are black in color. Grind 2-3 mg of Chaksu Seeds and make a fine powder. Soak the powder overnight and the next day, strain the liquid to remove the coarse particles. Drink this liquid once or twice a day and bring your BP to normal levels effortlessly.
