Kamarkas is a Palash tree (Tesu Tree or Dhak Tree) gum that grows wild in India. Brihmavriksham is the name of the tree. Its a reddish or blackish-reddish gum / gond that goes by the names Kamarkas, Palash Gond, and Gond Chuniya.Kamarkas herb consists of little gleaming flakes which are dark red in color. Kamar kas is an odorless herb with a sharp and pungent taste. Flakes are sticky when chewed generating a bright red saliva in mouth.
