I've used Nutrex Hawaii's BioAstin in the past and I deem it to be the 'gold standard' as far as asthaxanthin is concerned. Improvements were slightly better vision and a very faint golden/orange/yellow hue on my skin that helped against the harsh heat in the Middle East.I've had no issues or reactions with NOW's Asta softgels so far, vision's slightly improved. ASTAREAL® Natural Astaxanthin is much superior to it's synthetic version. Avoid people who take anti-coagulants. Try it alternate day for a month.
