The mask is decent. It is soft and comfortable. On par with any other sleeping mask. The cooling gel is a gimmick that doesn't work out. First, it makes the mask uncomfortable to use. Second, it doesn't retain cold for long. For me it went back to normal temperature after 30 mins of use. Just use the mask as is. The cooling gel pack makes using the mask cumbersome.

The outer cover is some cheap synthetic fabric with an exposed microdot backing inside, don't think it'll survive many washes. But more importantly the fabric itself is very hard, uncomfortable and has some chemical smells. Disappointed.

The gel pad once pulled out, refrigerated and has to go back in to the pouch which has a slit on the underside of the eye mask, is not an easy task, the folds overlap each other, making it tough for us to fiddle with the mask by folding it into half and try pushing the folded gel pad simultaneously into both the sleeves at once, it definitely is not a convenience for a person who wants to chill his eyes after a long tiring day.I think it beats the whole purpose.Getting used to placing the gel in its intended place, 'technique'. You have to adjust the gel by pushing the pads towards the eyes and, the under eye portions, if you have deep eye sockets, raised forehead or the brow line.Blocks light for sure, but it does get itchy on the seams, into the sleep, you automatically push the mask down to your neck or remove it completely.

I travel alot. I can't sleep after 6 due to sunlight around me. But I put on the mask at 6am n sleep till 8 or 9 like a pro. Love the exponential increase in sleep quality
