The product might have the necessary electrolytes, but it contains too much caffeine and makes me jittery. I drink normal coffees 2 or 3 times a day, so my caffeine tolerance is not very low. Used this during a hard trek, and made me jittery everytime I used it . But the salts worked and delivered it's results none the less

If you are prone to cramps on your long runs, and/or sweat a lot this might be your saviour. Personally I take one capsule every 12-15km depending on the intensity of the run, for every run longer than 2hrs. The regular gels don’t seem to have enough electrolytes to help during the longer endurance efforts thereby leaving you vulnerable to inexplicable cramping. That’s where these tablets come in handy.
