The combs seem to be made from good quality wood. The glide through the hair pretty smoothly. They help untangle the hair as well. The tips of the comb don't prick and are soothing as you comb the hair. They don't tug the hair and give a very nice massage to the scalp. The teeth of the combs are well rounded. These combs should help improve the blood circulation and are a much better option than plastic ones. The size, shape weight and ergonomics are also nice and comfortable. The hands don't hurt even after using them for some time. So far I find it as a good purchase. The packaging could have been a little better but that doesn't seem to have affected the combs. So I don't mind it.
