It doesn't work the way that Loreal Root touch up .This is not a spray .It looks and pops out like a lipstick and when we start doing it doesn't cover the grey roots 100% and it takes a long time to apply it . But I don't believe it has any harmful chemicals in it .But this is far better than China hair root touch ups !
