Beltwala carpel tunnel splint is commonly used as conservative management for carpel tunnel syndrome i.e. pain in hand wrist and sometimes arm and numbness and tightening in thumb index and long finger. The splint is worn over the hand to provide support and stabilize the wrist. It is designed to hold the wrist in the position where the carpel tunnel pressure is lowest. It is designed to fit the wrist and arched over the carpel tunnel area itself so that it doesn't apply direct pressure on the median nerve from outside. It keeps the joint in neutral position at nights. It is designed in such a way so that hand can be moved at day time to stop stiffness of muscles and becoming weak. It is of universal size and is made in India.
