Thuja occidentalis MT acts on gastro-intestinal tract, kidneys and brain. Its relation to the production of pathological vegetations condylomata, warty excrescences, spongy tumours are very important. The main action of this drug is on skin and genito-urinary organs, producing conditions that correspond with Hahnemann's sycotic dyscrasia, whose chief manifestation is the formation of wart-like excrescences upon the mucous and cutaneous surfaces. It has a specific antibacterial action, as in gonorrhoea and vaccination. It suppresses gonorrhoea and salpingitis. It acts on feeling as if tearing in muscles and joints, worse at rest, better in dry weather, worse damp humid atmosphere; lameness, rapid exhaustion and emaciation. This drug also looks after a complaint from moonlight. Its role in inhibiting cancer cells have been demonstrated in animal model.
