The Razor handle is made of high quality stainless steel which is rare in Razor industry. Usually I would be brass handle. As usual head is made of alloy. Appearance Deceive - my first razor is pearl L55 when I hold l55 It gives satisfaction lyk holding Royal Enfied bullet quite heavy . But this Hajamat razor is short handle and around 60gm and not soo thick head plates lyk is seen in romer and pearl but when I put it in use It out performs all the razor I have u can have this as RX 100 in double edge razor perfect weight agile and easy to use... This gives very very close clean shave and heavier than Romer cs-11 (40gm) which looks bigger in appearance and this razor weight is close to Pinkwoolf (70gm). The gunmetal coating is flawless and neat. But selling Gunmetal for one price and chrome for another and rose gold for another diff price is robbery ???? . There r very few wet shavers the competition is not between pearl Parker hajamat pinkwoolf or romer it getting new young customers in wet shaving . Try to act responsible while pricing I bought this colour for 350rs while chrome is 300 this is not fair.

This is a sweet little safety razor. Inspite of a massive overhang, blade seemingly more exposed than even Pearl L55, it is not exactly an aggressive razor. And that is because of the protrusion of safety hinge created (grooved head). Also, it is easier to align the blade in the first go itself. My daily driver continues to be Pearl L55, but every now and then, a (gun metal based) relatively lighter razor offers a bit of a change. It would have been remarkable with a heavier build (head and stick). But for shaving connoisseurs who are mindful of how expensive this hobby can be, this is a must have. Well within budget and sustenance of a beautiful hobby.
