For 20+ years I thought large firm too brush was the right way. I used to make sure I got firm or hard brushes only.Now at 43, maybe I'm getting old. This toothbrush is sensible, you need to be patient- literally brush each tooth. With my large brush, I can hit 3 teeth at once, and brushing is much quicker.This size forces you to calm down, and brush properly. If you are lazy, then you might consider another product. After making the switch, I don't think my dentist is going to complain. I don't think I'm harming myself with this tiny product. If you are the type that rush things.. try once maybe you will adapt ;-)

I was looking for a replacement to Colgate Charcoal toothbrush which I am using for years. I ordered this after seeing the description and reviews, expecting softer bristles but turns out it has similar softness to charcoal one, just that bristle density is high. It does feel a bit soft but for initial few uses only.A bit disappointed with the brush, considering its costing more than double of what charcoal one costs and the term ultrafoam it a bit misleading. So, I'll be going back to the previous one.Only pros would be ergonomic soft handle and high density of bristles.You may go for it, if you want wider coverage i.e. cover more area in less time.
