The importance of sunscreen cannot be overstated. It is literally the most important skincare item for everyone. No cream, mask, oil, serum will work on anyone's face if they do not protect it with sunscreen. I use sunscreen everyday without fail and Lotus makes the best sunscreens in my opinion within budget. This is by far my favorite of the bunch. My skin is mature, on the dry and dehydrated side and this sunscreen protects my skin while also providing moisturization and keeping it glowing for nearly 4-5 hours at a stretch. The only drawback is the white cast it leaves behind that takes some time to subside. I cannot put it on and immediately walk out of home, I need to wait 5 minutes before the white cast settles. It is also sweat and water proof so whenever I sweat, it does not wash away, rather it becomes clumpy and white on my face which is a hassle. Moral of the story-Always keep a handkerchief with you in case you use it and go out of house so that you do not move around with clumpy white cast on face after sweating! I have found this to a be a regular problem with most sunscreens in Indian market. But apart from this one drawback, it is actually a very good sunscreen. I have noticed my skin becoming brighter and healthier after using this with my standard moisturizer.
