DHOKRA CRAFT brings you this decorative tribal Madiya Madin figurine made of good-quality brass. Madia Madin is a tribal term taken from Abhujhmandh and is taken from the people of the place Abhujmadhiya. Abhuj means unknown and Madiya refers to the people who live there. Madia is the word used for men and Madin for women. Abujmadia practices jhoom agriculture on the hills also called penda agriculture. Crafted by the tribal artisans of Chhattisgarh (Dhokra art of Chhattisgarh). Dhokra craft is a casting technique using age-old wax casting. Hence the product might have some black/dull patches which is a symbol of handcrafted Dhokra art. Please note: Due to various types of lighting and flash used while photo shoots the colour shade of the product may vary.
