Was waiting for a long long time to get my hands on this post pandemic. It's still very difficult to find in local stores or any other online shops and finally it's now available on Amazon. Extreme useful and versatile liquid to have at home which can be used for first aids, bathing, shaving, disinfecting clothes or even for floor cleaning. Do dilute the liquid as per the instructions mentioned on the product label. It contains Chlorhexidine Gluconate Solution I. P. 1.5% v/v and strong Cetrimide Solution B.P. equivalent to Cetrimide I.P. 3.0% w/v to provide antiseptic and disinfectant properties. This duo not only more effective than Dettol's (Original Brown liquid) Chloroxylenol but also doesn't sting after applying on skin. There's also now a Multipurpose Disinfectant cleaner from Savlon to compete against Dettol's Multipurpose Liquid (Green, Blue bottle) which is more suitable as disinfectant if you want nice fragrance but also a lot more expensive https://www.amazon.in/dp/B08CL5P72J/, stick to this Original Savlon if you don't want much fragrance.

Due to covid19 situation,its a must buy if u want to keep ur family and belongings safe. It is mild and very much trustable product. Moreover its an Indian brand. I could not find either dettol or savlon from the local market due to unavailability in the market and finally got it from amazon. So thank you amazon for delivering the product always on time.

The only thing I disliked is too much foam when mixed with water. otherwise budget friendly, no strong smell. it stains clothes sometimes. use less product and more water and mix the product well into water while disinfecting light coloured clothes. the stain is easily removable with detergent.

I hunted for dettol like every one else and found it was in great short supply.checked with savlon it is now owned by ITC and much better than dettol.read online medical reviews that dettol is never used in hospitals but only salvlon is widely used and does not sting as much when applied.

It's a brand that doesn't need a review. Clearly 5 ??. Packaging was of concern as the bottle got disfigured a bit. But not going to return as there is no leakage.

Coming earlier than expected. Good packing.savlon is an antiseptic liquid. Dilute with water and use.using for cleaning hands face and legs before entering the house .pour savalon in to washing machine and the water for bathing as recommended. Good for cleaning wounds cuts etc.

It is a good product for home use but, its scent is very low because I am using this liquid for cleaning my baby's clothes, but the scent has vanished within 1-2 hrs after washing, but the Dettol doesn't do that. But however, it's a good product.
