This is not the Luminarc Islande 30cl! It's Arcoroc Islande (related brand, but not the same). It's made in UAE, not France. It's not what I was looking for (Luminarc Islande 30cl E5884); returned with thanks.

I am not a person who drinks alcohol but I've always felt that water or any sort of beverage does taste better and feel better to drink in a glass tumbler. I was on the lookout for a glass tumbler that gave a premium feel when held. It had to be bottom heavy and had to make a nice sound when placed on a table or a coaster. Finally found it with this. This really improves the feeling you get when drinking compared to from a plastic tumbler or even differently shaped glass ones. Especially if you have it on the rocks, you will really enjoy it more.The quality is top notch, regardless of where it was made. The base is quite thick which is good but the sides are a bit thin so you do have to be careful when handling it. It isn't too thin but still can crack if you drop it accidentally. Overall very satisfied with the purchase.
