Advantages

This is a good quality spice box. The individual containers are big - can hold generous amounts of dry spice. In the picture there is 50g each of masala ilaichi, black cumin, mace, etc. The edges are NOT sharp, they are smooth. The lid fits well without being too tight or loose. I use this for khada garam masala. For regular turmeric, hing, chilli powder, etc. I use a smaller one. Although I think it is a little too expensive, I'm happy with the purchase due to its size and quality.

Having read the low to mediocre reviews, to say I was apprehensive to order an expensive spice box, would be an understatement. I paid the ATS with trepidation but to my extremely pleasant surprise, I discovered my ill-feelings were unwarranted simply coz it's a gorgeous shiny steel masala dabba built to last for decades. It's sturdy extremely spacious n delivered securely boxed n bundled & yes the edges r smooth & the closing of the lid buttery & snug. A bit pricey but worthy masala dabba! If interested, go for it!
