Advantages
It's a good product. But in all cast iron utensils one has to clean and oil it again after every use. So that is cumbersome. No fault of the manufacturer, it's just the way these utensils are. I find it too heavy to use it.

It takes a while to get used to after all those lightweight nonstick pans but the switchover is completely worth it. I just followed the instructions and my fish came out so well even on the first use. And i know it will only get better with regular use. I just wash it very lightly with water and liquid soap, dry completely and apply a thin coating of oil and store it. I only wished that it was a 12 inch size. My compliments to the makers for popularising our traditional and healthy cooking methods. I even bought a second one to gift it to a foodie friend!

I brought this skillet to replace some of the teflon coated utensils in my kitchen. The product is super heavy and not easy to handle in the kitchen sink while cleaning. That being said, it sits firmly on the kitchen stove and does not move while stirring and tossing. The material looks authentic and I can finally scrape the bottom of the skillet with my spatula without worrying about poisoning my food. The pan comes pre-seasoned with oil which is supposed to make it non-stick. But I have cleaned the skillet with dish soap. If you leave the skillet un used for a while it will develop a layer of rust, which was scary at first, but it can easily be removed and the skillet is ready to be used within minutes. If you use it often, you won't have to worry about the rust. The skillet is deep enough to be used for a serving of vegetables, poha, upma, or dal and even the occasional omelette. The size of this vessel is large. I am happy with this purchase. My mom won't use it though, she is not comfortable with the rust bit and it is too heavy for her to handle.

Excellent product from Bhagya. Strong build and the key is to season it even though its pre seasoned. Have cooked everything both non veg and veg dishes and the flavour is great. Also made tomato based dishes without any problem.Wish we had more cast iron cookwares options available in India. Have attached a picture - The more you use the pan and maintain it you will find the patina forming and ultimately leading to the skillet becoming nonstick. Hope this helps

Best value for money. It has an awesome seasoning done by the manufacturer. The packing was perfect. Immediately after ordering, i got a personalized email from the supplier promising help if needed, which is so considerate. Also, there is a detailed manual on how to start using and maintain it, and the warranty card is dated and stamped. Even though I thought it was a bit expensive, now I think it's worth every penny. I started cooking in this skillet from day one, and am very happy.

This is a fantastic skillet, probably the best value for money product in its category. Made in India too! This will change the way you cook -- in my kitchen this has become the default for shallow frying anything, so it always stays on the cooktop (a trifle heavy to handle). The quality and design are both excellent. The manufacturer will personally send you an email after the purchase, asking for feedback and offering advice, which is a rare thing. Well done!
