It's a product with the quality you expect from Hawkins. It's expensive and you get what you pay for. Just know that it is an induction-base pan, so it will take a longer time to heat up and doesn't get very hot on a gas stove due to the additional layering that is designed for induction.If you are buying this, you probably want to slow-fry veggies/meat, and for that, it's really good. Very evenly distributed heat. Don't expect the high-heat frying performance of a normal "kadai". This wasn't designed for high-heat cooking (like egg fried rice)UPDATE:After almost 2 years of mild use, it has started warping. As in, the middle area has lifted up, leading to unequal distribution on heat. All the oil get funneled towards the sides while the middle area remains dry. Deducting 1 star for having a short life spam

Advantages
A very good product that does its job really well. Has pretty good built quality. Heats up nicely and has a very good glass lid (you need to select the right model to get what you need). It is not induction friendly (again it depends on the model you choose) but I needed it for my gas stove. You also get a wooden ladle as well as a plastic scrubber along with a recipe book. The only con I see is that glass lid doesn't have a hole to take out slight heat. Rest of it is simply awesome. Non stick performance with wooden ladle is exceptional as expected from Hawkins.
