Be wary of buying this , it's been five months since buying the pan and the rivet has become loose. I have another 2L sauce pot from vinod , have been using it for past 6 yrs, that is perfectly fine. The quality of vinod products have declined over the years with increasing sales. I am no longer confident ,in purchasing its products.

Very well built, sturdy. But removed 2 stars because I bought this expressly for use on induction. The base isn't flat and the pan revolves on the induction pad by itself. I have to use higher heat settings if I want to cook in a reasonable time since it takes longer to heat because of the concave bottom. Then my eggs burn because the heat is too high. If buying for gas stoves, highly recommended, I'd buy the same brand again.
