Hawkins Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Handi is ideal for cooking Palak Paneer Vegetable Thai Curry Rasogolla Dum Aloo and many more. It is a well-designed Tri-Ply Stainless Steel Cookware. It retains the advantages of cooking on stainless steel surfaces while eliminating the disadvantages of sticking and burning that come with normal stainless steel. It is made of three layers. The cooking surface is made of AISI 304 18/8 food grade stainless steel that is extremely hygienic durable and non-reactive to most foods. It does not pit or corrode. The core is made of heavy gauge aluminium which spreads heat evenly and prevents hot spots. The base and the outer surface is made of AISI 430 grade magnetic steel works well on gas ceramic halogen electric and induction cooktops. It is securely packed in an attractive box ideal for gifting.

It is seriously one of my best purchase, all triply cookware of Hawkins are budget fit and utensils are thick and heavy, easy to use and clean, provide nonstick feel to some extent... Which is good if some steel utensils providing you non stick feature like aluminium. It actually behaves like aluminium. Little bit non sticky.

There are many popular brands that make kitchen cook ranges but most of them fails to provide good quality and thickness. Hawkins products uses food grade stainless steel and that is something i always like. They will never get rusty. Will recommend to others, must try..

Thickness is better than vinod. Vinod is having 2.5 mm thickness, Hawkins having 3mm. Handles rosewood in hawkins so doesnt heat up handles while cooking whereas in vinod handles heat up. I have both Handi, giving reviews after usage.
