The surface was very rough on arrival, and inadequately seasoned. But after some sanding to smoothen the inner surface and seasoning, it has become a pleasure to cook in it.

Just what I wanted. Had an irony taste in the foods that were cooked in it, but that went away over repeated use and seasoning with oil. A very good product. Better than using aluminum kadhai. No compromises on this product, worth the price paid.

Loved this product from day 1. Needs seasoning the first few times and the usual care that cast iron requires. But practically nonstick if you take care of it. I use it regularly for subzis, stir fry, noodles, fried rice etc. It's REALLY heavy though (probably why it works).

Product was not pre seasoned& finishing was not as shown in the picture . I have seasoned it for 4-5 times still there is black coating gets mixed with food . Is it normal nature of cast iron or defect in product I don’t understand
