I've had bad experience with brand Pigeon. Earlier I had ordered an Induction stove by Pigeon which looked good but wasn't working. Had to return it back. This time, since I had to replace a broken tawa asap, I ordered one from Pigeon (tawas under 499) and Pigeon didn't fail to disappoint me. The product was packed neatly by Silkrute.in, although sturdy, was slightly damaged (see pic)- as if someone had banged it out of frustration! Still, I ignored it and thought I'd start using it. But to my surprise, it didn't work on my induction stove! Well.. I have returned the tawa. I'm not sure if its brand Pigeon which makes substandard products or if its the 'sale!' which tries to push these damaged products at a discounted price. Whatever the reason maybe, good riddance Pigeon!
