Saw that the recent reviews are mostly negative so had a second thought before buying, I mean I can always return. I have been using this for 2 weeks now, regularly, twice a day and it works like perfectly. I brews great cup of coffee everytime. I use an induction at the second lowest temperature setting. No steam leakage. Its a bialetti knock-off for 650rs, I mean what else can you ask for. Its good. Highly recommend it.

Good product for brewing but cleaning the top section is quite challenging. It has sharp edges and not easy to put your hands inside and clean.

Easy 2 use. Only Issue I felt was that the Decoction was not thick at all even after putting on very sim Flame. Rest it is easy to use. and Yeah Pls See that you put it very carefully on the burner. Doesn't fit on my burner and many others too.

Bought this for my other house. Was a bit disappointed too see lower quality and thickness of steel used in this coffee maker Sharp edges on the lid which isn't treated. My "Leo" branded smaller mocha pot is many times better built than this one. It does make decent coffee just like any other machine.

The first time I used it there was powder in the upper chamber and though I kept it on "boil" on the induction cooker, there was a bluish discoloration of the metal.

I Used before embassy percolator 6cups, was heavier in mettle and glossy in finish, The reason I ordered this was coz my previous percolator was leaking water from the safety valve. HERE i want to give checkpoint to all readers * which I get from Embassy, they suggest after listening to my issue - if the steam leak from a valve, it may chock of percolator's neckline or tiny holes may block of filter, clean first that pipe with via removal of below gasket and filter clean, with thin bottle brush available for clean especially this narrow pipe. most of the problem get resolve with cleaning. as i resolved mine. they told - if water also starts leaking it can be the defect and need to replace valve which is available with them .. i find it is a big support.also, I find of this percolator have a sleek upper body part and also very Important in buying decision, practically it is not 500ml, less than 400 ml and below safety valve water can come around 300ml, and Upper body can hold only this 300 ml amount of water. But the price is good, and thinking if it supports to filter coffee making for next couple of months, it will be more than good.and finally after twice trail, i find the defect in joining of two cups continues leakage of water and steam and its pure defect. so i prefer return.

This was purchased as a replacement for a Bialetti 6 cup moka pot which served me for several years.First use was fine. Second time the safety valve failed, and from then on the moka pot could not build up sufficient pressure to brew coffee. Lid is badly manufactured, and when closed, does not align flush with the body. There is no info available on where a new safety valve can be obtained to get it functional again.Its a shoddily made product pretending to be a moka pot. In hindsight I should have spent the extra money on another Bialetti which has not failed me over hundreds of uses.Customer service at Pigeon seems to be non existent. I sent a detailed e-mail to them at customercare@stovekraft.com, requesting them to send me a replacement valve which I would be happy to install myself, or direct me to a dealer nearby who can undertake the repair.It has been month, and there has been no response from them.At ¼ the price of a Bialetti. I got what I paid for. A shoddily made product of substandard quality.Unfortunately there is no 0 star rating, and am forced to be charitable and rate them with 1 star.Whoever is interested in purchasing this product would be well advised to spend the extra money elsewhere and invest in a quality product which will give you years of reliable service.
