For kitchens with limited storage it nests neatly and efficiently. It can also be used to reheat food in the microwave and oven and is dishwasher proof. I just LOVE these Vitrelle bowls. -- They're SUPER EASY to clean -- They match other Vitrelle products perfectly, purchased separately -- Their WEIGHT and FEEL is just great. Not too heavy; not too light. -- It's a joy to eat out of this fine texture bowl (or the Vitrelle plates)...Just GREAT! love it!

SOLID bowls yet not so breakable

Call me odd, but I like eating all my meals in a bowl. I like to cut up and mix my dinner food in a bowl. Maybe I'm part dog... It is also extremely effective for portion control. I was heartbroken when I broke my last remaining, decades old, white Corelle bowl (yes, they break into a Zillion shards if dropped on a hard surface!), and even more dismayed that I'd have to eat on a (ugh!) plate until I received my new order. I was concerned from the reviews that these bowls would be too small as I had never measured the last one I dropped, but was thrilled to receive my beautiful, clean white bowls and they're perfect! Who knew anyone could get so excited... over a bowl?

I like the white look and it matches my set. Dishwasher safe, yet my new dishwasher may not be set right for thoroughly cleaning them. I’m a senior citizen and my parents relied on Corelle. It is most efficient and safe and durable for me.

Nice bowls, but they transmit heat easily, so the bowl gets hot to the touch quickly. Not a deal breaker but be aware. I would buy again.
