Old trusted brand, brought for my mother's use in kitchen. Plastic is thick and not flimsy. The vaccum works well, even after application of force. I think the surface plays a big role. The surface I tested on was polished granite. Longevity yet to be tested.

I replaced this product with the first one considering that the first item delivered might be defective as the vaccum doesnt have any strength to hold on the kitchen slab. Unfortunately the replacement had same issues. Thee vaccum doesnt stay for more than a minute and it pops out from the surface. I then returned the replacement product also and claimed for redund.I saw reviews from 2018 that the vaccum works fine, may be then it was fine but now the quality has degradation.

Product quality wise is good. The design needs to be improved. There should be a mechanism to lock the blade in open position, it moves to and fro while cutting.
