The drying time is not slow enough as much as you would like to work on. I dont know its the product that i got has the problem. Would recommend going for liquitex instead

Normally the retarder is in gel form but this retarder which came to me is in pure liquid which can't be used in acrylic painting.

People who want a slight oil paint feel in acrylics.... BUY THIS!I am already IN LOVE WITH THIS PRODUCT.... I don't think you'll find anything better or even Similar at this price range!Points to be noted before buying :-1. Makes your acrylic dry late.... really late....More retarder = need of more time to dry...2. Will slightly affect the consistency....3. Doesn't affect the color when it dry........4. Doesn't affect the pigmentation either.....5. Affects the opacity - i.e. -more retarder = more translucency6. In a coin size paint drop , a tear drop of retarder is enough, for making it take 2 days of time to "COMPLETELY" dry (though you can work on the project before it completely dries.... depending on how much dry u can handle/work with) .Happy painting ! ;*
