A very good kit to engage the kids. I gave this to my 10 year old and without any help, she completed it in 2 hours. The manual has detailed instructions and great product to develop logical thinking.

My daughter isn't fond of building toys. She had tried some earlier but they didnt work, so she stopped playing with them. most of them required parental help, even though the manufacturer said that kids can make themselves. Someone gifted her Smartivity hydraulic crane. I was damn sure she won't be able to build it. It was too complex but she built in in just three days. She spend some 6 hours and she built it! Trust me, I didn't even see what the toy is about. I just gave her to explore. But she built the toy and it worked. No nuts and bolts, no screws, nothing. Just cardboard pieces. Yes, its overpriced but remember that you are paying for an idea. My daughter wanted another similar one so I bought this. It had a few missing parts. I contacted the manufacturer and they sent me the missing pieces within three days without any extra charges, which is something I highly admire. She is still on it and loving it!

One of the best assembly toys o have come across. Good design leading to good figment and fairly detailed instructions. Only issue is that the elastic bands which hold it together snap easily and you got to replace them frequently.
